Veterinary Assistant

Amber is a Veterinary Assistant at Clifton Hollow Animal Hospital. She grew up in Poulsbo, WA graduating from North Kitsap High School. Her whole life she has had a passion for animals big or small. Growing up she always had an assortment of pets owning horses, dogs, cats, hamsters and bunnies.

Amber always had a love and enjoyment for riding and caring for horses. By attending the University of Montana Western, she was able to achieve a degree in AAS Equine Studies Science Opt. She also attended classes for natural horsemanship training. Finishing school in 2011, she interned at the Northwest Natural Horsemanship Center where she furthered her experience with horses.

For years after college she worked at a grooming salon, bathing pets and assisting groomers. Amber’s career goal has always been to work with animals; she loves the medical side of being able to help animals and keep them well. She is now attending school to become a certified Veterinary Technician, which led her to Clifton Hollow Animal Hospital to continue her journey with her love of helping animals.

Amber’s best friend is her 14-year-old Chihuahua named Peanut who is her little shadow and cuddle bug.  She also owns an American Chinchilla Rabbit, which is how she found her new hobby of bunny trick training. Lastly, she owns a Paint/Thoroughbred named Taliesin (Tally) who she loves riding and just being around and spending time with. Beyond her love of pets, she likes being outdoors going camping, floating the river, and going to the beach. She is also a big crafter and loves canvas painting, and of course spending time with her family and friends who are a big part of her life.

Veterinary Receptionist

Charlotte is a Veterinary Receptionist at Clifton Hollow Animal Hospital. She is an Anglo American who was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and moved to the beautiful Pacific Northwest at the age of five.

Charlotte became a Veterinary Receptionist because she has always loved animals and has been very interested in their health, nutrition and well-being. As a Veterinary Receptionist at Clifton Hollow Animal Hospital, she is the warm and friendly face who welcomes you when you enter our front doors. Not only does she perform clerical duties and helps keep our hospital looking and smelling clean, she also helps ensure our extended family members have a wonderful experience and assists our staff with multiple tasks as needed.

Charlotte married her wonderful husband, Nash, in 2012 at the Red Cedar Farm here in Poulsbo, WA. Together they have a very energetic and sometimes rambunctious Newfoundland named Ziggy, who loves to go surfing on the weekends with his mum and dad. They also have a mischievous little kitty named Buddha who joined their family in December, 2014 and loves the outdoors where he is very passionate about his hunting.

Charlotte’s passions include yoga, surfing and working on their small veggie farm. She is extremely passionate about living off the land and is a certified “human” nutritionist.
